In overall, the place is sleek, has extremely competent and very welcoming staff from the bellhop to the maids. Impeccably clean and well-designed rooms come with a view of the water & lively bar downstairs, hang out and 2 queen beds. It is set in a nice area, next to a museum and a theatre.

The location is perfectly situated near the harbor. The pool area was a hit with my kids, and the staff were friendly.
The restaurant hours could have been more flexible.

We booked a "superior suite with waterfront view" via Booked.net. When we arrived, we were told by the manager that Booked.net had not booked us into a suite. Instead, we had been assigned a deluxe room (the lowest level of accommodation). The manager tried to give us what we were expecting, but the hotel was fully booked on our first night, and the best they could do was to give us to a junior suite. They then moved use to a "superior suite with waterfront view" for the 2nd through 4th nights. I appreciated that they tried to live up to our expectations, despite a gross error on the part of Booked.net. The suite was amazing and wonderful!
See above. They said that Booked.net had not arranged with the hotel what they had guaranteed to us.

The hotel is upscale, it has helpful and friendly staff and an outdoor bar. Elegant, spotless room complete with the tub, the microwave, fridge. Excellent service during my fairly nice stay. They offer wake up service and ironing free of charge too.

The location is perfect, just a quick stroll from boston common and the freedom trail. We loved the clean, spacious classic queen room. The beds were comfy, like clouds! The spa is a great escape with awesome treatments.

The lobster roll from room service was nice. The location was ideal for visiting local attractions. The staff provided helpful directions .
Check-in was slow with long lines. It felt off for a hotel of this level.

The hotel was great, we loved the design and appointments!
Breakfast buffet looked wonderful but the eggs were dry and had no flavor and the quality of the croissants wasn't as good as it should have been. Only drawback was lack of bathroom privacy in the rooms which could be addressed with a noise machine or larger bath mat.

The best part was necessarily the SPA, gym and swimming pool which can make a major diffrence in any hotel stay.
The staff manning the cafe and restaurants clealry requires more experinence and effectiveness.

great stay but steep prices
The indoor pool was a perfect size for my family with little ones to enjoy. The huge bathroom featured a separate tub. We loved the umbrellas provided by the hotel during the rain, which showed their attention to detail.
This hotel was VERY pricey for our budget.

Location: the hotel was very close to bus station, the Financial district and the Aquarium and Children's Museum. The room was elegant, unique and had central heating, a laptop-size safe and multi-channel TV.

Rooms are large, bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was luxurious with great bathtub. Staff was very helpful. The waterfront location was great.
WiFi was an extra fee, which seemed churlish given the price of the rooms. The in-room coffee service was mediocre, with a keurig that never got warmer than, well, warm. Finally, the in-room fridge was so full of stuff for sale that there was very little room for me to store my own food. These are little inconveniences, but they impacted my stay.

The location is perfect for exploring the nearby waterfront and historic sites. The hotel has great amenities and the staff really went out of their way to help us, especially at the concierge. Definitely recommend checking out the local restaurants too.
We did have a little hiccup during breakfast where it got a bit messy trying to sort out our spending limits. It could have been smoother.
